TAM Rubberstamp Archive

The TAM Rubberstamp Archive started in 1983 by sending out the first sheets into the network Ruud knew then, and is now over 35 years old. Still more contributions come in and only rarely the normal public can get a glimpse of what the archive contains. Several documentations about this archive are previously made, and online a large catalogue is available. (You can find an overview of all important details mentioned in previous publications (see also www.iuoma.org).

New foam rubberstamps

With the foam letters I made a set of new rubberstamps that deal with specific words used in the network. Beside the known IUOMA, Fluxus and MoMa, also DkultN and Trashpo, but off course in a way that some letters look different. They print fine on an envelope:

They even have the possibility to stamp a few times and cause different intensity of the rubberstamp ink on the paper. I printed the stamps first to make a wooden stamp complete with name on it:

And off course sent out a few envelops to share the result with others.

More stampsheets into the network.....

A set of envelopes with prints from rubberstamps goes out today into the network. We will see if it brings back any new stampprints for my TAM Rubberstamp Archive. Each letter also includes an A3 xerox copy of one of my new drawings where I wrote a special note on.

New 5089 stamp for the TAM Rubberstamp Archive

A new stamp arrived today with the 5089 logo from Moan Lisa for his 5089 movement. We are starting to see the signs all over Facebook, but with the stamps it will reach the traditional network as well. fos me the crossing of the networks is alway fascinating.

Above you see how the rubberstamps is integrated with all the others rubberstamps from the TAM Rubberstamp Archive.  The first envelopes are on their way, and so the spreading has started even more.....

As some of you might have guessed, the 25 year celebration of this archive is now being prepaired. Special sheets are sent into the network and the possibilities of a larger exhibition are being investigated.
